Press for "The Diamond Sky" at the Guggenheim
“The Diamond Sky”
Selected Press Clips:
“…On display was a custom video projection adorning the walls of the museum, featuring the Blue Book diamonds and created, with accompanying music, by the Leo Kuelbs Collection. It was hard to know where to look first: at the projection, the actresses, or the jewels themselves, which, mounted in recessed displays, appeared to float against the walls of the museum—like magic.”
Tiffany’s turned Tron at the Guggenheim, as the jewelry house unveiled its 2014 Blue Book against an equally dazzling backdrop: a light and sound show by the Leo Kuelbs Collection.
On Thursday night, The Diamond Sky greeted black-tied guests walking into the dim, spiraling space. Champagne flutes in hand, they threw their heads back as the Tiffany Diamond burst into view on the museum’s rotunda, as other video “gems” hovered and morphed into stars.

Immersion Threshold video now online!
Immersion Threshold
Concept by Leo Kuelbs and Glowing Bulbs
“Immersion Threshold” is an exploration of the liquid surface where above touches below; beyond the last moment of daytime, yet not the first moment of night; the pre-flicker of a dream and the passage between the terrestrial and the extra. With overhead visuals by Glowing Bulbs, Integrated Visions and Bordos deepened by music from Bin Jip, FaltyDL, and Studio H, “Immersion Threshold” is a virtual place, located somewhere within the border between yin and yang.
Presented by 3_Search and Curated by Leo Kuelbs, “Immersion Threshold” begins its journey in Budapest, an important center for projection mapping and music. With an ability to re re-scaled for all types of dome environments, “Immersion Threshold” seeks to expand its explorations of the paradoxes of opposition in multiple contexts.
