Following up on the highly successful Form & Substance premier held in in Brooklyn, NY in 2013, this year’s exhibition will be held in and on the iconic InterContinental in Miami, FL during Art Basel 2015. Form & Substance 2015, will feature several components including projection mapping of the large exterior façade, projection mapping onto Henry Moore’s "Spindle" sculpture located at the hotel lobby, a series of single-channel videos presented on monitors throughout the interior of the space, and sculptural light installations throughout. This multi part exhibition will highlight one of the most exciting new techniques in contemporary art and expose the audience to the forefront of art innovation.

 

Single Channel Video Information

Curator Leo Kuelbs presents 34 videos selected from six shows presented by Leo Kuelbs Collection and/or 3_Search, including four guest curators and dozens of artists.  The shows were presented at different cities in Europe and the USA in 2014 and 2015; and feature a selection of videos from the LIGHT YEAR series, which has appeared monthly on NYC’s Manhattan Bridge.  Shows Include: “Submerged!” VIEWS, “Transflexion: The Net of Mirrors,” “TRIPS,” LIGHT YEAR: Marble House Presents “Decomposing Hierarchies,” and LIGHT YEAR: New VideoArt from Berlin.
